Remembrance Day

It's Remembrance Day today in Canada. We had a lovely service at school, but I was disappointed in the students that tried to skip off attending, or acted as though they didn't care at all what the service was about. I mean seriously, people, would it kill you to show a little respect for the lives of the soldiers who died for our freedom?

Unfortunately, there's not a lot you can do about it. I don't really have much to say about today besides what I just did. So, I'm going to put up a song and be on my way. This was played at the ceremony today and I just loved it; the vocals and instrumentals are outstanding and the whistle in this song is just lovely. Brought a tear to my eye.

That and it says everything I can think to say on this day. So here it is, 'A Pittance of Time', by Terry Kelly.

Eh, I could be better; had a cough all day, but I still managed to get some singin' and whistlin' in without hacking my lungs up. :XD: So it's good.

What's the craic with you? Don't think I've heard from ya in a while. :3

Aaw, coughs are no fun. I've had a bit of one for a few weeks, but it's just bet this annoying dry cough. Nothing else, but I suppose I should just be happy it hasn't turned into anything worse, hmm? I've been doing pretty well though! Worked a lot of overtime, but also caught a few CT shows, so I think it evens out to a pretty good month.

No they're not. I'm startin' to think I've gone and caugh H1N1. Mom sent me straight home from the chiropractor this morning when she realized I had a fever and an upset stomach. But I'm sure I'll bounce back soon enough; it's just flu. :P

That's cool! Can't make it to any shows this tour, but I can't complain, since I managed to make 'Storm'. :D What a fantastic weekend. A fantastic month, really. Can't wait for the DVDs and CDs to come out, and hopefully to see them on tour next summer. ^___^

Uh oh! I hope you feel better soon! Awesome you made it to Storm! We drove up from Vermont, but it was so worth it! What did you think of it?! I can't wait to see the dvds of it... I tried to act it out for my mother, but I'm afraid it just wasn't the same.
